The Founders

Greetings, my friend, and welcome to ZEMRIA. Come, settle in with your favorite drink and good conversation.

Perhaps you enjoy a game—a good hand of pitch, whether around the card table with loved ones or out in the yard pitching horseshoes on a hot summer day, occasionally enjoying a stogie with others who appreciate the moment.

Time with family and friends has always been central—games, barbecues, and staying active through sports. Today includes sand volleyball and time on the water.

Through sports in school and then later on, came lessons in grit, discipline, and perseverance. In time, those lessons deepened into an enduring appreciation for teamwork, trust, and the strength that comes from building alongside others.

Family, God, and nation have long guided how this life is lived and how this House is built.

Early years were spent outdoors, shaping a deep appreciation for nature and the traditions of the land. There has always been a love for water, whether the deep deep blue sea, or swimming with the kids.

A degree in electronics engineering led to a decade working on precision aircraft instruments, where detail and accuracy carried real consequence. Much like a jeweler or watch artisan, precision and craftsmanship became foundational. The discipline of building and creating has remained constant ever since.

Travel has brought appreciation for places across the United States, including Niagara Falls and Yellowstone. A volleyball trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico remains among the most memorable.

A lifelong love of animals continues, with many companions over the years, most recently a Maltese poodle named Fritz.

Giving back has always held importance—delivering Meals on Wheels, serving food lines, supporting children’s hospitals, and faithfully serving within the church. Teaching Sunday school stands among the most meaningful experiences.

Family remains the greatest joy—the blessing of four children, each carrying a life filled with promise. Their love, values, and legacy continue to breathe life into the House of ZEMRIA.

FOUR GENERATIONS ALONG THE WATER

Across generations, the water has been more than a place — it has been a setting for memory, tradition, and time shared with those who matter most. From grandparents to parents, and now to children and grandchildren, these moments reflect the enduring legacy of family, stewardship, and love that continues to shape the spirit of ZEMRIA.

RIPPLES OF MEMORY
